the shuttle wheel moves your cursor without scrub in 7 increasing rates, in each direction. Works very well in Premiere, the jog wheel pushes a frame a time, about ten frame per full revolution. Now all I need is an absolute scrub sensitivity action, irrespective of zoom factor. It works by triggering keypresses or multiples/repeats of them.
#CONTOUR SHUTTLE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY INSTALL#
Gladly there was no 'block' by BM, just stupid install procedure because Contour can't get 'approved developer' status from. PS: I've replaced the action Transport: Fast Forward a little in the above macro with the SWS extension action Xenakios/SWS: Move cursor right configured pixels This allows a shuttle rate proportional to the horizontal zoom factor of the TCP at the time. Pretty infuriating but thankfully it works Problem was ensuring the Contour app had access in the 'privacy' settings in system preferences. Open the Contour Mouse disk image (.dmg file) located in the Downloads folder or on the Desktop. Uninstall the Contour Mouse driver using the Contour Mouse Uninstaller found in the Help menu of the Contour Mouse app.
#CONTOUR SHUTTLE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY UPDATE#
In contrast mapping F9 and F10 to the wheel doesn't update fast enough, or lets say nearly. display it works fine like you would do it with the mouse wheel. This stop action prevents the following scrub from exhibiting its high-speed "catch-up" behaviour, and drops REAPER straight into a very responsive scrub with the jog-wheel, straight after a rapid shuttle traverse. Disconnect any Contour device connected to the Mac. Short Update on the Contour Shuttle: When you map the jog wheel left and respectively right to the mousewheel up down and you point with the mouse on the desired position of the frequency. I've got around this by creating a two-action macro: Transport: Fast Forward a little and Transport: Stop, and then re-assigning Ctrl-RightArrow to this macro instead ( and Rewind a little, Ctrl-LeftArroww). You can duplicate this by pressing Ctrl-RightArrow a few times and then vanilla-RightArrow -this might be a REAPER buglet? It keeps playing high-speed scrub for a time or until I press play, or shuttle again.

bob99 December 16, 2015, 8:49pm 7 I was just guessing because UAC was the solution here: Steinberg Forums 1 May 14 SOLVED Mouse Keys and shuttle pro 2 not working 6.0. If it's greyed out, click 'Change settings for all users' and tick the box from there. The Contour shuttle works correctly in Sound Forge 10 and most of the other programs I have on my Window’s 7 computer. Tick the box 'Run this program as an administrator'. Right click on ShuttleHelper.exe and go to the Compatibility tab. Having one teething issue with scrub in REAPER after I've shuttled. Navigate to the Contour Shuttle folder in Program Files (x86).
